New licensing applications could be controversial

There are two licensing applications this week which may provoke comment

Application for a Minor Variation of a Premises Licence: The application is to extend by 1 hour the permissions for late night refreshment on Saturday and Sunday mornings (currently permitted until 3.00 a.m.)

Application for a New Premises Licence: The application is for: Plays, Films, Live Music, Recorded Music, Performance of Dance, Anything of a similar nature (to music and dancing) and Sale of Alcohol Sunday to Thursday 09.00 hours to 23.00 hours and Friday to Saturday 09.00 hours to 00.00 midnight. Late Night Refreshment on Friday to Saturday from 23.00 hours to 00.00 midnight.
