Theft in Bury Knowle Park – can you help?

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information to a robbery in Headington, Oxford.

At around 8pm on Thursday 4 July, a woman was cycling through Bury Knowle Park where she was stopped by a man who started to talk to her.

The man assaulted her and stole her handbag before running off towards Chestnut Avenue.

The offender was black, about 6ft and of medium build. He was wearing a navy blue hooded top with the hood up.

Among the property stolen was a white medium-sized handbag with gold studs on it, a pair of white headphones, house keys and a small quantity of cash.
